Angelica graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. As a daughter of two Mexican immigrant parents, and an immigrant herself, Angelica has always had an interest in immigration law. But her interest in the field sparked after working as a Student Translator in the BU Civil Litigation program at Greater Boston Legal Services.

Angelica also worked as an ESL Assistant Teacher for English Language Learners working to learn English to acquire citizenship and/or receive their Hi-Set Diploma.
