United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is raising the filing fees for immigration applications.
The fees will be about 20% higher and will apply to all applications received on or after December 23, 2016 (just in time for the holidays!). Here is a sample of fee increases (I’ve added in the biometric fee, which will remain unchanged at $85):[one_half]
N-400, Application for Naturalization
I-130 Petition for Alien Relative
I-485, Adjustment of Status
I–129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)
I-90, Application to Replace Green Card
I-765, Application for Employment Authorization Document
A complete list of USCIS’s new immigration fees can be found on USCIS website here.
