Goldstein Immigration Lawyers
It’s Josh. I wanted to let you know that I’m okay. I’m here in Los Angeles, and we are on lockdown. A shelter-in-place order has been issued and we’re at home. I’m here with my family, my wife and kids, and everybody is healthy. Everybody’s safe. We have food, and we’re going to make it.
Working from home
It’s a tough time. Everybody in my office has gone home. We all have our laptops at home, and we’re doing our best to work from home while practicing social distancing.
Social distancing
Social distancing is the only way we can fight this thing. It’s the only way we can flatten the curve and prevent the explosive growth of new cases, which has threatened so many people’s lives and safety. But social distancing doesn’t mean emotional distancing, and that’s why I’m reaching out to all my clients today.
Connecting with you
I’m sending them video messages through a tool I’ve started using called Dub, which I absolutely love. I can send personalized videos to all my clients. The message that I have for them is that I’m just checking in with them to see that they’re safe and that they’re well. I want to let them know that I have got their back.
Everybody in my firm is ready to help out, but we’re doing it in the safest way that we possibly can. We don’t know how long this is going to continue. We are now a virtual law firm, and we’re doing our best to make that work.
We’re here for you
We’re using all the tools that we know how to use, and we are here for our clients. We’re going to continue to be here, and nothing’s going to stop us from doing our work to fight for the rights of immigrants. I hope you’re well, and I hope you’re safe, and I will see you in the next video and blog post.
